I think omnisphere is just a little overhyped cause it’s more like a all-in-one kind of plug-in so of course going back and forth between different elements is a good selling package but it doesn’t really put time into one particular thing like sound design. I’m still pretty novice but even still serum really gave me more sparks than this, particularly because of the modulation aspect where, but serum just wasn’t my particular taste for music production which I think is more geared for edm techno stuff. Idk I think serum or even pigments have a larger plane of tweaking waves than omnisphere. They are not the newest, but I7 4770k3,5GHz shouldnt be that slow and all harddrives are SSDs. Just using basic waves I can’t really structure something that sounds great and at the end of the day they just sound analog as hell.
